NationBuilder stock themes are not designed with LWV brand standards in mind. How to customize the colors of a stock theme depends on the theme. Some stock themes are easier to update than others. We recommend reaching out to Online Services for individual support if this is something you want to undertake.

Common issues in updating theme colors:

Some themes collect all the colors into variables at the top of the theme.scss file and the tablet-and-desktop.scss file. Others spread the colors throughout the various support files. Sometimes finding all the places a color is used can be difficult.

Some themes use background images that need to be removed or altered for the color change to be visible.
