Victoria Gruber, the Executive Director of Legislative Services will be discussing the Maryland 2021 Budget.

Racial and Economic Agenda

A special guest will be joining us to discuss the Speaker Adrienne A. Jones (D-Baltimore County) Racial and Economic Agenda which is comprehensive legislative package crafted in partnership with dozens of federal, state and local leaders to address systemic racism in housing, banking, corporate management, health, government and business.  The agenda has five areas of focus: creating an equal path to homeownership for more Black Marylanders; addressing underlying health conditions that stem from systemic medical and social inequities; encouraging entrepreneurship through access to capital and assets; emphasizing diversity on corporate boards and increasing minority business participation in public contracts.
