The Freedom to Vote Relay and Rally will take place on Oct 21, 22, and 23. The purpose of this three day event is to promote public awareness about the urgency of passing:

• The Freedom to Vote Act (a revised For the People Act) would protect our voting rights, get big money out of politics, ensure fair districts, and help create a democracy that works for all of us.

• The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act would prevent states from passing further laws to erode the freedom to vote for BIPOC communities. 

• And DC Statehood would enable the more than 700,000 people who live in Washington, D.C., who are a majority, people of color, to have a voice and a true vote.

Bike riders can chose to ride just one segment, the entire 53.7 miles or something in between. If you don't want to ride, we need people to be at the various stops to pass out food and drink to the riders, flyers about the bills to others passing by, and give rides to bikers back to where they left their cars.
