2012 Redistricting: In total, 1.6 million Maryland residents (28%) were moved from one district to another, out of a total population of 5.7 million.

League President MacNamara's statement at yesterday's Congressional forum on voter suppression got some nice attention.

The City Board of Elections is predicting a measly 12% voter turnout in tomorrow's General Election. The League thinks this isn't a representative way to elect our City Leadership and is building a coalition of support to change the timing of the City Elections to encourage better voter turnout and save the $3.6 million the City currently budgets for them.
