Our League hosts public information sessions on many different topics, all associated with our mission of Making Democracy Work.  We have conducted public information sessions on the Maryland Primary System and on Redistricting Reform in Maryland.  We recently hosted a panel discussion on Running for Local Office in Talbot County; check out this article in the Talbot Spy and the companion brochure we handed out Running for Office in Talbot County 2018-2019.

Want to know what else we do?  Check out this article in the Dorchester Banner about the Hurlock Candidates Forum held Oct. 19, 2017.  This forum was organized and hosted by the League of Women Voters of the Mid-Shore; we offer candidate forums for all municipalities in Caroline, Dorchester, and Talbot Counties.  We also publish a brochure on Running for Office in Talbot County (similar brochures for Caroline and Dorchester Counties are being compiled).

Do you remember the news article, "Talbot County honors the frequently controversial League of Women Voters"?
