Mission: The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
What Your Dues Provide: Membership in League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS), League of Women Voters of Maryland (LWVMD), League of Women Voters of the National Capital Area (LWVNCA) and League of Women Voters of Prince George's County (LWVPGC). League membership is open to all persons aged 16 and older.
Membership Year: July 1 to June 30
Annual Dues for Primary Household Member: $70.00*
Annual Dues for Primary plus Additional Household Member: $105.00
Students: LWVPGC waives annual membership dues for students who are enrolled, full-time or part-time, in an accredited institution. Please click here to apply for student membership.

Support LWVPGC: You can make a non-tax-deductible contribution in support of LWVPGC's general operations by entering an amount in excess of annual dues. Donations to the general fund allow our League to serve our members and community in new and diverse ways. Thank you for your generosity.
Other Ways to Give: LWVPGC welcomes your charitable support. We provide nonpartisan voter services through our 501(c)(3) Education Fund and scholarships through the Thelma Boyd and Dorothy Ginter Scholarship Fund. *For first-time members only who join between February 1 and June 30, 2023, dues are $35.00 for FY22-23.
