Protect Equal Access to Education. Pass HB 649.

HB 649 – the Advancing Equal Educational Opportunities for All Students in Maryland Act – has passed the House but is now stalled in the Senate Education, Energy, and the Environment Committee. Without action, the bill will not move forward. We’re urging members to contact Chair Feldman and Vice Chair Kagan and ask them to schedule a vote so this critical legislation can advance.
