Maryland_fotor

Maryland voters should feel safe and supported as they cast their votes. This year, we’re partnering with 866-OUR- Vote ramping up our efforts and beginning to train volunteers to help protect the vote amid COVID-19.

Our nonpartisan voter protection program that seeks to ensure that every eligible Maryland voter who wants to vote can and that every vote is counted accurately, even during this public health crisis. Our Election Protection program is not affiliated with any party, candidate or issue campaign.

Volunteers like you will be voters’ first line of defense against suppression tactics, confusing laws, outdated infrastructure, and other impediments to making themselves heard.

The public health crisis has changed our elections and our Election Protection program. Our first priority is making sure volunteers like you are safe and not exposed to the virus.
Volunteers who commit to taking at least one General Election Day shift in their County will help to:
  • safely monitor vote centers from their vehicles (drive-by poll monitoring!)
  • monitor from outside of vote center to help voters (masks, hand sanitizer will be provided)

Sign up as a Maryland Election Protection volunteer today and we’ll reach out with all the information about the training to get you started as we get closer to November.

Our Election Protection Volunteer Needs have been met for the 2020 Election - Thank you!
