Join LWVMD for Constitution Day 2023!

In partnership with the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, the University of Maryland of Baltimore, and the University of Maryland College Park's Dept. of Government and Politics, MLAW Program LWVMD is proud to host its 17th annual Constitution Day. 

This year's panel program will be The Second Founding. An in-depth dive into the intention and interpretation of Constitutional reform after the Civil War and today's real-world application. 

Our prestigious panel will consist of: 

Moderator: Professor Mark Graber, PhD, JD

Panelists: Professors Michael Pinard, JD; Guha Krishnamurthi, Aadhithi Padmanabhan, JD, and Dean Renee McDonald Hutchins

A rigorous Q&A session will follow the discussion. Questions encouraged!
