Newsletters

Each League of Women Voters at all levels (local, state, and national) sends out a newsletter. The newsletters are often called "The Voter" and are usually issued between three and ten times a year. Look at the bottom of this page for subscription links.

The LWV of Maryland also issues a monthly State Board Letter (SBL) which is sent to all local league presidents and to members-at-large.

The Report from State Circle is issued every two or three weeks between January and April, while the Maryland Legislature is in session. Everyone is encouraged to subscribe or browse online for free. Hardcopies are available for a small fee to cover printing and postage.

Action Alerts and Announcements

These are issued as needed, usually while the legislature is in session. The LWV of Maryland passes along information from National as well as sending state information, and uses the dedicated mailing list "Action/Info Alerts".  Everyone is encouraged to subscribe.

Local Leagues use a single mailing list for Newsletter, Action Alerts, and Announcements, so if you sign up for your county's News, you'll get any alerts or announcements they send.
