You can support the work of the League of Women Voters in two ways:
(1) The Citizen Education Fund is the public service arm of the League of Women Voters that publishes the Voters Guide, The Elected (a directory of officeholders), Know Your County, and conducts educational workshops and citizen forums. Contributions to the Citizen Education Fund are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by tax law.
(2) The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County studies public policy issues affecting Montgomery County, the state of Maryland, and the United States, using volunteer researchers whose materials are discussed in local units throughout the county. When members reach consensus on an issue following study, the League will also engage in public advocacy. While the League is tax-exempt, contributions to the League are not tax deductible for donors.
