Please join us for "In League With Your Neighbors," a series of informal conversations sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Kent County during the coming months, focusing on topics of interest to our community.

The first meeting will be held at the home of Frances Miller, 221 Birch Run Road, Chestertown. (Open to all residents of Kent County. Every League member who brings a [nonmember] friend will be eligible for a door prize drawing!)

At this first meeting we will look for ways to answer the question, "Can we live greener lives?" Come with your own answers to that question, and with questions for your neighbors. Among many ideas we might explore are ways to make our homes more energy efficient, the feasibility of wind power, ideas for recycling, buying locally produced foods, and ways for the County and its individual cities to save on energy use and fuel costs.
