The League of Women Voters of Howard County supports the request for State Bonds for these three important Howard County projects. We supported State Bonds for the Robinson Nature Center and North Laurel Community Center in the 2006 General Assembly session. The League has also supported requests for State Bonds for the Blandair Regional Park during the past two General Assembly sessions. The League's support for these bond bill is based on the League's Recreation and Parks position for "facilities accessible to and meeting the needs of a changing and diverse population and that include ... the active pursuit of community input and participation in planning facilities and programs." We urge your favorable consideration of these Bond Bills.
