     HAVE YOU MOVED? GET READY TO BE A VOTER THIS YEAR!


To register to vote and for election enformation, please contact
the Baltimore County Board of Elections, 106 Bloomsbury Avenue,
Catonsville, Md 21228-5221,  telephone 410-887-5700. You may 
also register to vote at the various Motor Vehicle Administration offices.
The Department of Health, Department of Social Services, and public
libraries also have registration forms. The League is well known for its production of Voters Guides for primary and general elections distributed the week prior to elections. These Voters Guides are regularly inserted in local newspapers and are frequently found in libraries, post offices and other places convenient for public use. A new edition to our services is a nation-wide website that provides an expanded voters guide online with candidate and voter service
information you must take advantage of at election time. The address is: http:www.dnet.org The League sponsors and conducts various forums, candidate debates and other information sessions prior to elections as a public service. Frequently, also, local candidates are shown on local public service channels such as a channel of your public school system or county government. Local newspapers provide announcements of personal appearances by candidates in various communities. The League recommends you consult your television directory and local newspapers about such events, or contact the League office for information about League-sponsored events beginning about one month prior to an election.
