Contact Your Legislator

To e-mail a legislator, go to http://mlis.state.md.us/cgi-win/mail32.exe and scroll down to your representatives name.

Obtain a Copy of a Bill

To get a copy of a bill, go to http://mlis.state.md.us/#bill and type in the bill number. Dont forget to type in HB for House Bill or SB for Senate Bill before the number. For information without the bill number, scroll down and search Bill Information and Status, Bill indexes or Bill Profiles.

Committees and Telephone Numbers

Publications Available

To find out info about MD Government, you can request a copy of Your Voice in Annapolis, which explains the legislative process. Roster and List of Committees details the names and addresses of the 47 Senators and 141 Delegates elected from 47 districts. These invaluable publications contain information about Committee Assignments, House and Senate Officers, seating arrangements of legislators and more. There are also nine topic-specific guides published by the Department of Legislative Services entitled Legislative Handbook Series.
