A1:
To help educate the public about our exploding budget and to help our students
compete in a math, science global environment. Introduce magnet programs and an
International Baccalaureate program.
A2:
Leading by example we need to stop bussing our kids all over the county. We
waste so much in the county as adults, it is hard to teach children the right
thing when we are not doing it ourselves. Teach by example. A crucial sense of
community is lost by bussing. "Green" county, my eye!
A3:
We shouldn't have any low performing schools as long as we back the teachers on
proper discipline and work with the parents of the children. I was able to set
up "at risk" reading programs for elementary children in California for $100 a
school. They involved parent/teacher partnerships!
