Three members of the Justice Study Committee met January 14.with Frank Broccolina, Court Administrator. The committee is working on an update and new study on the selection of judges, retention election of judges, public financing of judicial campaigns, the financing of the judiciary and the election of administrative officers related to the judiciary. They will put a notice in the spring Voter advising local Leagues, when they do calendar planning, to include consensus meetings in late January, February, or early March 2009.
