League of Women Voters of Maryland

Welcome to our website. We are a growing League that can look back on more than half a century of important contributions to the political decisions in our county. We look ahead to addressing many pressing issues that face our county, our state and our nation now and in the future.

Much of our work is done in small groups, units, that meet in your general neighborhood. We are reaching out to different geographical areas and demographic groups to more fully represent the county's residents. We have both men and women as members. If you would like to attend a general meeting or a unit meeting in your area, see our calendar. If there is not a unit convenient to you, please contact us to consider forming one.
