Advocacy Workshop Cancelled
The State Board has reluctantly cancelled the November 17 Advocacy Workshop, due to uncertainty about the availability of space in Annapolis. Logistics are complicated by the probability of a special legislative session and, at this writing, the possibility of a major International Conference on the Middle East to be held at the Naval Academy sometime in November.
Anticipating that we will hold the workshop next year, the Board continues to urge LLs to provide Action Chair Marjorie Slater-Kaplan with lists of organizations and individuals who might want to attend. ActionChair@lwvmd.org
